The 2012 Infiniti G37 is a sport-focused Sedan available in four trims: base, G37 Journey, G37S Sport 6MT, and G37x AWD. Combined with a powerful engine, stylish look, and unique comfort, the 2012 G37 Sedan stands out among other mid-size sedans in its segment.

The Infiniti G37 Sedan's exterior now includes a trendy grille, front fascias (Base and Sport) and headlight treatments. It rolls on 17-inch wheels with revised interior colors and trim, available next generation navigation system, gauge color scheme and center console design, rain-sensing wipers and Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS) with Plasmacluster air purifier added to Technology Package, standard 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat and one-touch auto up/down rear windows on Base model. The G37 Sedan has a crafted interior environment and is equipped hi-tech luxury features like standard leather-appointed seating and an available audiophile-quality Infiniti Studio on by Bose premium audio system, which combines Bose's 3-way front door speaker array with 10-inch subwoofers and a parcel shelf-mounted subwoofer. A 2GB Music Box is available with the Premium Package. A predominately white color scheme for the gauges and LCD instrument display, improves both legibility and cohesiveness of design. A trendy center console design (7AT models) and Shodo aluminum trim are among the other changes. A next-generation version of the Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System now includes features such as XM NavTraffic with Real-Time Traffic Information and NavWeather with Real-Time Weather and 3-day forecast (XM subscription required, sold separately), Streaming Audio via Bluetooth and Zagat Restaurant Guide. Other navigation system features include a 7.0-inch touch screen monitor and 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive.

The G37 Sedan derives power from a 328-hp 3.7-liter VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) V6 engine mated to an efficient 7-speed automatic transmission. It is also available with a 6-speed manual transmission (G37 Sedan Sport 6MT), as well as with an advanced Infiniti Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system (G37x Sedan AWD).

The 2012 Infiniti G37 Sedan is equipped with many advanced safety features. Driver, front, and outboard rear passengers side impact air bags; front-seat active head restraints (AHR); electronic brake force distribution (EBD); brake assist (BA); 4-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS); vehicle dynamic control (VDC); traction control system (TCS); cruise control with steering wheel-mounted switches; and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are few of the numerous standard safety features on the G37 Sedan. Its advanced air bag system (AABS) offers dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor which adjust their inflation rate depending on crash severity. If the front-passenger's seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the air bag.
